My worst UFO week was back in 2012 during a camping trip near Moab

I saw three glowing orange orbs zip across the sky over three nights, then my friend's phone died right after he snapped a blurry photo of one. Anyone else have a streak of weird sightings that felt like the universe was messing with you?

Had a similar thing happen while I was camping up in the PNW back in 2014. Saw a single orange orb hover over the treeline for like ten minutes, then it just blinked out. My buddy's camera battery drained completely right after, dead as a rock. Makes you wonder if these things mess with electronics on purpose or if it's just bad luck. You still got that photo your friend snapped?

That camera battery thing might not be just coincidence. I wonder if whatever produces that kind of light also puts out a strong electromagnetic field. There was a guy who came into my shop once, had his phone die after filming something similar in the desert. We tested it and the battery was fine physically, it just wouldn't hold a charge until we did a hard reset on the phone's power management chip. So it's possible these things are putting out some kind of pulse that temporarily confuses the electronics rather than actually draining them. Wish we had more people with proper instruments at these sightings instead of just cell phones.
