Paid $40 for a night vision monocular, saw something that made me sell it
Bought a cheap digital night vision scope off Amazon for a camping trip near Sedona and caught a glowing figure walking in zigzags across a field at 2am, no trail behind it. Has anyone else used gear like this to verify sightings, or did I just convince myself to get rid of a perfectly good toy?

In my experience, cheap digital night vision picks up bugs and dust as glowing trails, so I would test it again before selling.
