Serious question, what do you do when your own eyes see something impossible?
Back in 2019 I was driving home from my sister's place near Sedona around 2 am. I pulled over to stretch my legs at a rest stop and saw a triangle of amber lights just hovering maybe 300 feet up, dead silent. My first thought was a drone, but it was too big and it moved sideways against the wind without any sound. I had to choose between calling it in or pretending I saw nothing, and I chose to stay quiet because I worried about looking foolish at work the next day. A year later I told my neighbor, a retired pilot, and he said he saw the same kind of thing twice over the desert in the 90s. Now I regret not recording it or at least waking my buddy in the car, because all I have is a memory and no proof. Has anyone else held back on reporting a sighting and later wished they hadn't? What would you have done in that moment?
