Two nights ago I saw the triangle and finally switched sides on this whole debate
I used to be the guy who laughed at everyone in this group. Thought all sightings were planes or weather balloons. Then Monday night around 11pm outside Omaha, I saw this black triangle with three white lights just sitting there over the interstate. No sound, no blinking, and it moved sideways against the wind before just vanishing. I looked up the flight radar on my phone and nothing was within 20 miles of that spot. Ive been comparing that to all the security camera footage people post here, and honestly the shape and movement match way too many reports. Weird part is I was driving home from a funeral and my brain was not looking for anything. Has anyone else had that sideways drift thing happen, or was I just seeing a military craft that the radar app missed?
Take the radar app thing out of it. Radar apps miss military planes all the time. I've seen A-10s fly over my house that never showed up on any flight tracker. That sideways drift, that's what helicopters do in a crosswind. Black triangle with three lights, that's a classic silhouette for the F-117 or something similar. And yeah, they're quiet at distance, especially at night. You were coming from a funeral, so your head was somewhere else. Grief does weird stuff to perception. I'm not saying you're lying, just saying there's a boring answer for every part of this.
