That one reviewer said skip the 12 episode rule, they were half right
A guy on a forum in 2021 told me to drop shows after 3 episodes if they don't click, no exceptions. I followed it for about 8 months and missed some gems like Odd Taxi that needed 4 episodes to get going. But it also saved me from forcing through two 24 episode slogs in Tokyo Ghoul's later seasons. Has anyone else found a specific episode cutoff that works better than 3?

Ugh, I feel this. I dropped Attack on Titan after 3 episodes back in the day and my buddy still gives me crap about it. Two years later I binged the whole thing in a week and had to eat my words.
