My tiny kitchen got 11 square feet of counter back and I want to thank a $9 over the door rack
My studio in Denver had about 8 inches of counter next to the sink, so every meal turned into a juggling act with the cutting board balanced on the stove. I hung a $9 over the door rack on the pantry door for my pans and colanders, which freed up a whole cabinet, and then slid a $20 rolling cart under it for the microwave, and suddenly I had 11 square feet of clear counter I never knew was hiding in there. What small swap gave you the most usable space without drilling a single hole in the wall?
