PSA: the guy at the U-Haul in Sacramento talked me out of box mountain, and he was right
I used to stack every box floor to ceiling in my studio because I thought wall space was wasted space, until a mover at the U-Haul on Folsom Blvd watched me load for 10 minutes and asked why I was building a fort instead of using my closet. He showed me that putting boxes inside the closet and along one wall opened up 6 feet of floor I did not know I had. Has anyone else had a total stranger fix their setup in one sentence?
Noticed this happens all the time with people who know a trade, they see the simple fix because they are not stuck in your way of thinking. Same thing happened when a plumber told me my drain was fine and I just needed to stop pouring grease down it. Sometimes one sentence from a stranger is worth more than a hundred hours of figuring it out yourself.
