Unpopular opinion: command hooks beat drilling for renters, but I want to hear the other side
I hung 14 pounds of pots and pans on a $4 strip of command hooks in my Kansas City kitchen last month and got my deposit back on the wall check, but my neighbor swears a $9 anchor kit is safer for anything past 10 pounds, so which one are you all trusting?
What brand of command strips did you use, and did you prep the wall first with rubbing alcohol? That step matters way more than people admit, and a lot of "command strips failed me" stories skip it. Also curious whether your pots hang on a rail or individual hooks, since a swinging rail puts way more stress on the strip than a static hook.
