Installer zip ties wrecked my dryer vent, $160 fix later

New dryer install last Tuesday left the flex hose kinked and crushed behind the unit, lint backed up enough to trip the thermal fuse by Friday. Took off the back panel, cleared it out, and replaced the run with rigid duct for $160. Has anyone else dealt with installers leaving flex lines folded like origami?
