That Tuesday in Tulsa taught me to check the obvious first
Had a week straight of fridge calls where every single one was just a dirty condenser coil. Three jobs in two days, all in Tulsa, all same fix. Customer kept insisting it was the compressor, but I pulled the panel and saw a mat of dog hair an inch thick. Charged $85 for what took me 15 minutes with a brush. Has anyone else had a run like that where the simple stuff piles up?
Tbh that “mat of dog hair an inch thick” hits close to home, I once spent an hour diagnosing a no-cool call only to find the customer’s cat had stuffed a toy mouse in the return vent. Simple stuff always makes me feel like a genius and an idiot at the same time.
