Vent: spent $260 on a refrigerant scale years back and it sat in my van for a year before I trusted it
I charged by the gauge and my gut for almost a decade until a guy in Fresno showed me his setup on a packed fridge job and my old way was off by 4 ounces every time. Now that scale goes on every sealed system job and I can't believe how many compressors I probably stressed out over the years. Anybody else buy a tool way too late and feel dumb about the wait?

Bought a vacuum pump and let it collect dust for like two years because I figured my old one was fine. Finally hooked it up and pulled a proper vacuum and yeah, the difference was night and day. We all got that one tool sitting in the van we're too stubborn to trust at first.
