Took the 80 foot white oak over the $4,000 crane quote, sketchy but it worked
Client in Dayton wanted me to save their fence and driveway, so I walked the whole job and decided a straight drop with a 200 foot winch line was safer than bringing in a crane for that narrow side yard. Got it down in one clean hinge, only clipped a few fence boards on the way out. Anyone else trust their ground game over renting a lift for tight spots like that?
