inPSA: Rearranging my bookshelf over the weekend kinda fixed how I handle work deadlines.
Honestly, my piles are less of a system and more like a little ecosystem... they just sort of live and grow on their own. I tried the sticky note thing once, but then I just had a pile of sticky notes on top of my other piles. It felt like I was organizing the organizers, which is where I officially gave up. Maybe my real talent is just making a mess look intentional.

inSpent a whole night trying to get a shot of the Orion Nebula from my backyard in Phoenix
Wait, you spent four hours on that? I would have lost my mind after the first hour of checking everything else. That speck must have been perfectly placed to look like a faint star.

inMy experience with AI color matching has sparked a personal debate on creativity.
That idea about the AI doing the legwork and you doing the thinking is spot on. But calling it a "rough draft" might be giving it too much credit sometimes. It's more like a pile of raw materials. For a book cover I did, the AI gave me a bunch of cliche color combos. I had to trash all of them and start mixing from scratch to get a mood that fit the story. The real time save was just having all the colors right there to play with, not in any scheme it picked.

inI finally stopped using a single knife for all my prep work.
Okay, "the difference in speed and control is huge" is SO real. For me, it was finally getting a proper fish spatula. I used a normal metal one for years and just fought with flaky filets. The thin, slotted, slightly bendy fish spatula? It slides right under EVERYTHING. It's like the tool was made by someone who actually cooks. That one swap saved me so much frustration and ruined dinners.

inI used to skip the discounted produce section until last week
Totally agree, those soft veggies make the best soup.
