You had one job, which was to move my data from point A to point B, and instead it just ate 2 weeks of my life like a hungry hungry hippo. I had a similar thing happen with a billing system once, it quietly dropped every invoice over 90 days old and nobody noticed until the end of the quarter. The worst part is there's no error log, no warning, just a nice clean import screen that lies to your face. I hope you at least have some backup or email trail for those 14 deals, because rebuilding from memory is the actual worst.
