My old field notes vs. satellite images in Anglesey, total game changer
I spent my twenties digging test pits near Llanfairpwll and sketched every trench by hand. Pulled up some LiDAR scans from 2023 last weekend and saw three ditch lines I walked right over back in 2011. The difference was so obvious that I drove out there Thursday to confirm, yeah, the ground still holds them. Anyone else gone back to recheck old sites with modern mapping tools?
