Paid $140 for a ground radar scan, got nothing but a hole in my pocket
Thought a GPR survey near Colchester would find Roman foundations in my backyard, but the machine just kept beeping over old drain pipes. The tech spent 2 hours and gave me a grid map full of false positives. I dug 3 test pits and found only brick fragments from the 1950s. Anyone else get burned by hiring a geophysics company for a small garden site?
