Old school mud work beat the new putty for me today
Been trying that new lightweight filler on a 2018 F150 door in Denver, kept shrinking after primer. Switched back to the old school Rage Gold with hardener mix and blocked it out clean in one pass. Anyone else finding the newer fillers need extra coats to get the same result?
You ever notice how the temp in Denver messes with cure times worse than humidity ever did? I burned through a whole tube of that new stuff on a bumper last spring, then watched it sag like a pancake at 40 degrees.
