One Tuesday last month everything just clicked, no clue why
We had a slow Monday, maybe two small dent pulls, and I was already dreading the week. Then Tuesday rolled in with a full shop, three insurance jobs and a classic Mustang that needed a whole quarter panel skin. I finished that skin in one shot, no filler, which never happens for me. The shop was loud, everyone was moving, and somehow we cleared nine cars by 5pm. Anyone else have those random days where your hands just know what to do, or was I just lucky with the metal that day?
Nine cars in one day sounds like a good story, but most shops have a day like that every few months. It's usually just the stars aligning, not some magic touch. The Mustang skin was probably just a decent piece of metal and you got lucky with the way it sat. Enjoy the win, but don't start reading too much into it.
