I laughed at my dad's $6 can of chrome polish until he did the trailer hitch on my Civic
Told him the rust on my hitch was permanent and no cheap can would fix it. Twenty minutes of rubbing later he hands me a mirror finish and says "that's 40 years of knowing better than you." Now I'm out here wondering what other old school stuff I dismissed too fast, what's your one that actually worked?
