Hit 200 engine swaps last Tuesday without even realizing it
I was just tallying up jobs for the year and counted 200 engine swaps since I started at the shop, which is a number I never thought I'd hit, does anyone keep track of their weirdest repair milestone?

Your buddy Mike and his little notebook is exactly the kind of thing I love hearing about. I've got a similar tally going for how many times I've replaced the same thermostat housing on a 2008 Chevy Malibu. It's gotta be 12 or 13 by now, and I'm pretty sure the car is running on borrowed time and pure spite. That number 14 on the alternator is wild though, I bet Mike's gonna need a bigger notebook pretty soon. What's the weirdest single-part repeat job you've seen on one car?

My buddy Mike hit 500 tire changes on Ford Fusions alone last year without even trying. He keeps a little notebook in his toolbox where he tallies weird stuff like how many times he's replaced the same customer's alternator. Last time I checked he was at 14 on that one car. The guy swears he's gonna frame the page when he hits 20.

Italian guy who owned my favorite pizza spot had a similar tally for how many anchovies I'd ordered over the years.
