Just realized those fancy wire strippers are actually worth it
I used to think the $40 Knipex automatic strippers were a waste compared to my $8 pair from the hardware store. Then I had to strip 50 wires on a 737 harness last week and finished in half the time without nicking a single conductor. Has anyone else switched to a tool they thought was overhyped and ended up loving it?

Oh man, totally! Once you try the good stuff there's no going back.

Haven't you found that the stuff we resist buying the longest usually ends up being the biggest game changer?

Its wild how that works. Ive noticed the same pattern with stuff like buying a decent mattress or switching to a better phone carrier. You fight it for months thinking its a waste, then suddenly you cant imagine how you lived without it. Its like your brain has this weird automatic resistance to anything thats actually an upgrade, even when you know deep down itll make life easier. Probably because change is uncomfortable and our lizard brains prefer the devil we know. But once you finally give in, you just kick yourself for not doing it sooner.
