Pro tip: keep a spare set of those tiny fiber optic cleaning tools in your kit
Last month, I was doing a pitot-static system check on a Citation in Dallas and dropped the only fiber optic connector cleaner I had. It rolled right into a drain. I was stuck for an hour waiting for the shop to open so I could buy another one. The job was a simple transceiver check, but that one missing tool killed my whole morning. Now I keep two of those little stick cleaners in a separate pocket. Has anyone else had a tiny tool cause a big delay like that?

Wait, isn't a pitot-static check for air pressure lines? What were you cleaning with the fiber optic tool?

Ever get dust in the pitot lines from sitting on the ramp? I used the fiber optic to clear a tiny blockage in the static port, just blew it out with low pressure air after.

I used to think one was enough... until I lost mine in a floor vent during a server room check. Now I keep three in my bag.
