Realized my SQL query logging was silently eating our dashboard performance
Been running our B2B SaaS ops report for 14 months and never questioned the 8 second load times until a client in Denver complained their invoice data took forever. Took me a full afternoon to notice every query was logging full result sets to a debug table, 4 million rows a week. Anyone else had a hidden logging config wreck something obvious for way too long?
