That $200 data pipeline tool we bought lasted exactly 4 weeks before we shelved it
We were drowning in manual CSV exports between our CRM and billing system. The sales guy made it sound like a no brainer. $200 a month, zero code, just drag and drop. Spent two days setting it up. After week 3 it kept dropping fields with no warning. Customer invoices had missing line items and nobody caught it for 2 days. Now we're back to a simple Zapier flow and a weekly QA check. Cost me more in trust with the finance team than the tool itself. Has anyone else gotten burned by these 'set it and forget it' integration platforms, or is it just my luck with vendors who promise easy?
