Heard a guy at the lumber yard say "just frame it with 2x4s, it's only a shed" and I've been laughing for 3 days
He was buying $340 of pressure treated lumber for a 10x12 shed he planned to finish in a weekend. What's the worst "it's just a shed" build you've seen that turned into a full renovation?

Pressure treated 2x4s are not the issue here, the issue is buddy thinks 340 bucks and two days gets him a finished shed. That price is just the bones, he still needs sheathing, siding, a roof, a door, and probably a floor unless he wants to store his lawn mower on dirt. The "it's just a shed" crowd always forgets the part where you have to actually close it in. Give it a month and that weekend project turns into a summer long money pit.
