Am I the only one who used to hunt for 1 star movies on purpose and now just watches whatever the algorithm feeds me?
Back in 2016 I would spend hours on IMDb filtering by rating, looking for anything under 2.5 stars, and I found stuff like Birdemic and The Room that way. Now I just open a streaming app and the homepage pushes the same 20 decent movies at me, so I end up watching something fine instead of something terrible. Last Friday I gave up scrolling after 20 minutes and watched a movie about a killer treadmill, which was still only half bad. Feels like the fun of finding a real disaster got replaced by stuff that is just boring. Where do you all dig up your worst finds now?
