Total disaster sounds about right for that movie. We tried it last year and only got two people to stay past the first bird attack. The trick is to make it a bad movie potluck, everyone brings the weirdest snack they can find. It gives people something to do when the movie gets unbearable. Honestly, the snacks were more fun than the film.
