Serious question, has anyone else baked their 1000th loaf of sourdough and realized how much flour that actually is?

I just hit that number and it made me realize I've gone through over 250 pounds of flour just for my starter and weekly bakes in the last two years, which is a wild amount of dough to think about.

Never thought about it but that's a crazy amount of flour.

I made a batch of cinnamon rolls last year that used five cups, jamief67. My kitchen looked like a flour bomb went off by the end. It really puts the scale of industrial baking into perspective.

A baker on a podcast said they used a literal ton of flour last year.
