My $15 rice cooker beats the $180 pressure cooker my sister swore by, and I finally hit 30 meals in a row last week
So about 5 months ago my sister gave me her old pressure cooker because she upgraded. Told me I was wasting money on the cheap rice cooker I got at the Asian market on Bellaire here in Houston. I kept using the $15 one anyway. Last week I hit 30 days straight of cooking rice in it, not one batch burnt or mushy. The pressure cooker takes 20 minutes to come up to temp and I still cant get the timing right on it. The cheap one just clicks over when its done and holds it warm. Anybody else got a cheap thing that just does the job better than the fancy one?
