Found out my school board's ban list came from 4 emails
Checked our district's public records request last month and discovered the entire challenged book list, 38 titles, started with just 4 form emails from the same family in Libertyville. They copied and pasted the same complaint template for each book, and the board voted to remove all of them without reading a single one. Has anyone else dug into their own local ban records and found something that thin on evidence?

honestly my buddy found the same thing in his district, one angry parent filed like 5 complaints with the same wording and the board just rubber stamped it. he said they literally didn't even look at the books, just crossed them off a list. wild how easy it is to get stuff pulled when nobody actually checks anything.
