DAE find the neck strip waste piling up lately?
I'm starting to think about reusable alternatives for the environment.

Saw a piece about a barber shop using these strips made from recycled paper that break down way faster. They looked just like the normal ones but without the plastic feeling. Seems like such a simple fix if the big companies would just make the switch. Honestly makes you wonder why aren't more places trying this? The whole point of that single use stuff is supposed to be clean, not to leave a mess for the next hundred years.

Read a similar piece on a green living site last month. @phoenix_bailey, washable silicone is a step up, but paper seems like the best for quick breakdown. Honestly, big corps avoid change until they're forced or it hits their wallet. Saw a comment that the paper option costs like 5% more per unit. Makes you wonder if that tiny difference is worth wrecking the environment for.

My barber switched to washable silicone strips last year.

Washable silicone is the move. Paper's fine but reusing stuff always beats single use.
