I finally compared a straight razor finish to a foil shaver on the same neck, and now I'm torn
Last Tuesday I did a hot towel straight razor cleanup on a regular's neck, then used a foil shaver on the other side so he could feel the difference himself. The straight razor side felt smoother for maybe 6 hours, but by day two the foil side had way less irritation and redness on his skin. He said he'd rather have the foil finish even though the straight razor felt nicer right after. So which do you weigh more, the feel right when they leave the chair or how their skin looks two days later?
