Vent: a 30-year client told me my taper was too low and I finally listened
He sat in my chair in Boise last month, ran his hand up the back, and told me a mid fade should start at the skin, not a finger above it. I argued for a minute, then tried it his way, and now I've changed my whole guard setup and my rebook rate on fades is up. Any of you ever get a critique from a client that stuck with you longer than the haircut?
