Warning: Don't buy that cheap clipper blade sharpening kit off Amazon

Bought a $25 sharpening kit thinking I could save money on blade swaps. Dulled three good blades in one afternoon instead of fixing them. Anyone else wreck their tools trying to cut corners like that?

Man have you actually tried water stones on clipper blades though? I hear that a lot but nobody ever says what grit to start with or how to not mess up the angle on those tiny blades. Most tutorials just assume you know what you're doing. What exactly did yours look like after you tried the kit? Were they chipped or just uneven?

Read somewhere that water stones are way better for that stuff.
