Rant: the creek behind my parent's place in Lexington ran clear in April and now it's pea soup green
I've been sampling it every 10 days since spring and the algae bloom lines up exactly with the new fertilizer runoff from the two subdivisions they built uphill, so if anyone here knows a cheap way to test nitrate levels without a lab, please clue me in.
