Finally got my insulin cooler to work after 3 days of fiddling

I bought one of those travel insulin coolers for a trip to Phoenix, and it kept shutting off after an hour. Took me three days to figure out the battery pack was too weak for the thermoelectric unit, not the cooler itself. Swapped in a bigger USB power bank I use for my phone, and it held steady at 47 degrees for a full 8 hour drive. Wish the box had just said 'needs 20W or more' instead of letting me waste a weekend. Has anyone else had power issues with portable med coolers, or is it just me?

Thermoelectric coolers are power hogs. Always carry 30W minimum, lesson learned.
