My brother called me crazy for watching a whole 6 season drama with subtitles, he was wrong
Back in 2019 my brother Dan kept telling me dubbed shows ruin the acting and I should just skip anything with subtitles. I ignored him and binged a Korean drama called Signal, all 16 episodes in one weekend, and the writing hit harder than anything I'd seen on cable. Then I made the mistake of telling him and he challenged me to watch the dubbed version of the first episode. He was right about one thing, the voices did not match at all, but he was dead wrong that it made the show worse, I just turned the volume off and read. What's the worst dub you've tried to sit through?
