Spent a whole afternoon fixing a twist in a 3/8 inch bar I drew out wrong

Pulled a 3/8 square bar too thin on one side last week and it twisted like a ribbon when I tried to straighten it. Had to upset it back and rework the taper over the horn for an hour. Anyone else mess up a simple draw out and end up fighting the steel for longer than the project took?

That's just how it goes sometimes - you try to fix ONE little mistake and suddenly you're in a whole different project. Kinda like when you're trying to clean one spot on a wall and end up repainting the whole room.

Oh man, that hits hard. It's amazing how one tiny fix snowballs into a whole weekend project. Totally been there, and it's frustrating but also kinda funny how it always happens.

Yes! My friend tried to fix a squeaky door and wound up replacing the whole frame over one weekend!
