My buddy in Detroit talked me into rewatching RoboCop, I was wrong about it
Always thought it was just a dumb action movie. My friend kept saying the satire was the whole point. He pointed out the commercial breaks and the ED-209 boardroom scene, stuff I totally missed as a kid. Now I see how it was making fun of corporations and media way before that was normal. Has anyone else had a movie flip for them after someone explained the subtext?
