Vinyl pops and hiss beat my digital silence any day

Dropped 400 bucks on a vintage Dual turntable from a shop in Portland instead of a new Bluetooth one. First spin of my dad's Fleetwood Mac record had more soul than any lossless file I own. Am I just romanticizing the crackle, or do other people hear the warmth too?
