Stop using the tiny dice that come with the game
I was at a game night last week in Ann Arbor. Three people couldn't read the numbers on those mini dice. We spent 10 minutes finding replacements from other boxes. Just grab a set of standard size dice from the dollar store. Makes the game move way faster.

Honestly, I'm the fourth person in that scenario because I literally brought a magnifying glass to a game night once. Ngl, my eyes are so bad I thought the tiny dice had blank faces for a solid five minutes before someone handed me their reading glasses. Tbh, I've started keeping a bag of those big, chunky casino dice in my backpack just to avoid the humiliation of squinting at every roll. It's a whole thing, and I'm not proud of it, but at least the game moves faster when everyone can actually see the numbers. My whole life is just me being the guy who can't read the tiny print on menus, so dice are just the next step in my vision-related failures.

Three people with bad eyesight or maybe they just didn't have glasses on... happens more often than you'd think, especially at a crowded table with poor lighting. I've been in games where someone couldn't read the d6 pips because the contrast was off or the dice were old and worn down. Even the new precision dice have numbers that can blur together if the font is too small or the color matches the table. It's not a design flaw or anything, just one of those things that comes up when you've got a mixed group.
