Vent: Our Sunday group in Akron lost half its players to one rulebook and I think I found the fix
Three weeks ago we started a strict 15 minute teach-before-play rule at the library on Market St and somehow nobody has dropped out since, so has anyone else had a teach time limit actually save their group?
Fifteen whole minutes? Must be nice. Our group in Cuyahoga Falls tried a "quick teach" once and it turned into a 40 minute argument about whether the house rule for drawing cards was official or not. By the time we actually played, half the table had to leave for work. A hard limit sounds like a dream, honestly. Take this with a grain of salt since your crowd might be chiller than ours, but I might steal your idea anyway.
