My plasma cutter died mid-job on a 3/4 inch plate last Tuesday
I was cutting a support bracket for a tank repair at a plant outside Cleveland. Halfway through the cut, the arc just vanished and the unit started beeping. Turned out the moisture separator had failed and let water into the line. Had to borrow a coworker's machine to finish, then spent an hour draining and drying my own lines. Anyone else run into moisture issues with their setup in humid weather?

I read somewhere that inline dryers help a ton with humid air.

So I actually noticed that in my basement, the humidity dropped like 15% after I added an inline dryer to my dehumidifier setup. It's one of those things where you don't realize how much moisture is just hanging around until you force it out directly. Kind of like how people overlook bathroom fans - they think a window is enough, but really you need something pulling that wet air out instead of letting it settle. Makes a bigger difference than you'd expect.
