Swapped my rosebud tip for a scarf nozzle on overhead iron

Used to fight gravity and get drips everywhere on top welds. Last month I borrowed a scarf nozzle from a guy in Gary, Indiana and it spreads the heat so flat that the metal just kisses together. Anyone else make that switch for their out-of-position work?
