Why does nobody talk about the June week when my monstera put out 4 leaves and my calathea died the same 7 days
I moved both plants to the same east window in my Cleveland apartment that week, and the monstera went nuts while the calathea crisped up by Thursday, so now I'm second guessing whether that window was great or terrible and I'd love to hear if anyone else has had one plant thrive in a spot while another one falls apart right next to it.
My calathea crisped up just from me looking at it wrong, so you're already ahead of me. Same window can be heaven for one plant and a death sentence for the next. Monstera's just tougher, it'll take a spot the calathea can't.
