My $19 cast iron pan from a flea market in Akron has outlasted 3 nonstick pans
Bought it around 2009 at a flea market in Akron for $19. It was rusty and gross and my roommate laughed at me. I scrubbed it with steel wool, cooked bacon in it for a month, and it turned black and smooth. The three nonstick pans I bought since then all peeled and died, but this thing just keeps going. Anybody else got a cheap tool or pan that quietly outlasted the fancy stuff?
