Rant: flight price alerts never drop on weekends, stop waiting for them
I spent 3 weeks watching a Denver to Chicago route and the fare only moved on Tuesday nights. Saturday morning I'd see the same $214 price every time. Airlines know most people browse on weekends so they hold prices higher then. Book Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons or set alerts and just ignore the app until midweek. Has anyone else noticed the pattern or is my timing just cursed?

Did your friend try checking late Tuesday nights too?

@murphy.tessa I've got a different take on this one. Prices moved around on random weekdays in my experience, not always Tuesday. Sunday nights showed some decent drops too when I was tracking flights last year. Maybe the pattern just depends on the route, or you just got unlucky with that Denver to Chicago line.
