inFinished a 40 episode series in 3 days and I feel weird about it
That Logan fella sounds like he learned his lesson the hard way. I did something similar with a show called "The Night Shift" a few years back. Stayed up until 3am three nights in a row and by the end of it I couldn't tell you half the character names. My wife came downstairs one morning and found me asleep on the couch with the remote still in my hand. Now I try to set a hard limit at three episodes per night, but that rule goes out the window real fast when a show really hooks you.

inMy buddy swore Hinge profile pics with fish were a dealbreaker, he was dead wrong.
Used to hate fish pics but honestly this changed my mind.

inI was dead wrong about using a mandoline without a cut glove
So how many stitches did that slicer actually cost you in the end?

inHeard a guy at a record store say CDs were making a comeback, finally gave one a listen
And the weird thing nobody brings up is how those early CDs had different bit depth and sample rate limitations that actually helped some albums. The PCM 16-bit/44.1kHz standard was a real constraint, but on a lot of 70s rock records it forced the mastering engineer to make smart cuts that ended up preserving dynamics better than modern high-res digital. It's like the limitation became a feature for certain genres, especially stuff with wide dynamic range to begin with.

inThought my buddy was nuts for growing tomatoes in his basement
Right on, totally agree with you about the LED lights. I tried a similar setup last winter with a cheap Amazon light and some cherry tomato seeds, and it was honestly my best indoor crop ever. Pests were zero, and the weird thing is my plants got way bushier than my outdoor ones because I could keep the light on a perfect schedule. The determinate thing is key though, I grew a regular Beefsteak variety and it got way too tall for my shelf. Have you ever tried any of those compact patio varieties under lights?
