Can we talk about the guy at the car wash on Route 9 who told me to skip the clay bar?
Ngl I almost listened to him back in March. He ran the tunnel wash in Poughkeepsie and swore clay bars just scratch your clear coat, so I skipped it for two months. Then my paint felt like sandpaper and a detailer quoted me $400 to fix the swirls. Has anyone else gotten bad advice from a tunnel wash guy and actually listened?
