That 9-hour layover in Denver where I saved $60 and lost my mind
I had a layover in Denver last month, 9 hours between flights. Instead of paying $45 for a hotel nap, I decided to do the whole airport budget thing: refilled my water bottle, ate a $4 airport pretzel, and tried to sleep on those plastic benches. Around hour 6 a guy next to me started explaining his crypto portfolio in detail, uninvited. I moved to baggage claim and found a quiet corner, then a cleaning crew vacuumed right next to me for 20 minutes straight. Saved the hotel money but my back is still angry. Has anyone else done the all-nighter-in-the-airport move and regretted it or was it just me?
