My grocery bill used to be a horror show every week

I'd just grab whatever looked good and end up spending like $150 for just me. Then my friend showed me her spreadsheet where she plans meals and shops the sales at Kroger. I started doing that two months ago, and last week I got everything for $75. Has anyone else had a win like that from just planning ahead?

My grocery list used to just say "food" at the top. Tbh, I'm shocked my bank account didn't just file for divorce.

Honestly @the_olivia, that's just asking for trouble lol. You'd walk out with three bags of chips and nothing for dinner. No wonder your bank account felt betrayed.
